Adopt an Angel is a 501c3 charitable organization based in New Hanover County, North Carolina. We were founded in January of 2004 and our mission is to reduce the numbers of animals euthanized in our area shelters through aggressive adoption and spay/neuter programs.
Burlington County Animal Alliance is a private, independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal advocacy group, that was founded in 1999. Our main focus is to make the public aware of the numbers of homeless dogs and cats there are in shelters and to promote adoption of these animals. We advocate spaying and neutering of all companion animals to counteract the overpopulation of dogs and cats and to end the tragedy of euthanizing healthy, unwanted companion pets.
City Dogs Rescue rescues adoptable dogs in high-kill and overcrowded shelters where resources are severely limited. We offer a lifeline to as many of these wonderful pups as possible. Sadly, nearly all of the dogs that City Dogs Rescue takes in are just days and sometimes hours away from being euthanized, for no reason other than lack of space. By finding these dogs permanent and loving homes in the DC metropolitan area, we can enrich lives - both human and canine. We are excited to embark on this journey, and we welcome your help in any capacity – through volunteering, fostering, adopting, and/or donating.
Helping Lost Pets is FREE to use and when you list a pet as Lost or Found, our members in your area are alerted. We also partner with many amazing volunteer groups across the country that will share your listing on Facebook, Twitter and other social media
